We are looking for a for a MRO Manufacturing Engineer 12 Month contract based in Derby on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support to arising issues in the global MRO network, ensuring customer requirements are met. Assess and challenge technical data to provide engineering solutions to generate Shop Visit Cost reduction and efficiency improvement solutions, working across multiple stakeholders covering Aero Engine Inspection, Engine Assembly and Disassembly Methods, Tooling, and Test. Support in the determination of financial benefits associated with all efficiency savings and cost reduction. Lead and govern Managed Service engineering resource, focusing on delivery, quality, and development of capability. Lead and embed process efficiency and simplification improvements. Key Skills and Experience: Strong technical problem solving capabilities. You will be results driven and able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment. You will have good communication skills to be able to cooperate at all levels of the business with internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to manage multiple tasks and to make accurate and considered technical decisions in an operational environment. You will have a good technical knowledge of Gas Turbine Engine. You will ideally have EASA Part 145/MRO experience working in an Overhaul Shop environment. You will ideally have knowledge and working experience of EASA Part 21J regulations. You will ideally have working experience within Aerospace Technical Response and Safety processes. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
