Job summary: Are you passionate about driving research forward in health and care and looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Research Senior Manager to join our Agile Research Delivery Team in the South West Peninsula. This role is key to leading a dynamic team who enable, facilitate and support research studies across existing and new settings. Being a regional position we welcome applications from Cornwall, Devon or Somerset as the postholder can be based in any of these locations.
About us: Stretching across Northern, Eastern and Mid Devon, we have a workforce of over 15,000 staff, making us the largest employer in Devon. Our core services cover more than 2,000 square miles and serve more than 615,000 people. We deliver a wide range of emergency, specialist and general medical services through North Devon District Hospital and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford). We also provide integrated health and social care services across community inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and within peoples own homes, plus primary care services and Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC). Our state-of-the-art equipment and links to local universities support research and innovations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Overall management and accountability for the Agile Research Delivery Team in a Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) region.
* Contribute to and where required, lead on strategic programmes associated with the Agile Research Delivery Team both regionally and nationally.
* Have oversight of the regional Agile Research Delivery Team establishment and maintain budgetary oversight.
* Responsible for providing a consistent Agile Research Delivery Service, with a focus on the health and care issues of the population within the region.
* Work alongside different professions from multiple organisations involved in health and care research
* Provide expert strategic leadership to ensure the Agile Research Delivery Team is optimally deployed to deliver research activities across multiple settings
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday
