Location: Cheshire
£28,000 - £35,000 plus annual company performance bonus, private healthcare, pension and 30 days holiday inclusive of statutory days.

Are you a driven technical professional with a passion for delivering smart, economical solutions? We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team, representing a UK market-leading manufacturer of pumping systems and solutions across a wide range of industries and applications.
About the Role
You will focus on Adoptable Pumping Stations, designing products that meet regulatory standards for future handover to local authorities. You will take quoted designs and turn them into technical drawing packs, navigate regulatory approvals, and manage amendments until final sign-off.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with procurement of materials and coordinate deliveries to meet installation deadlines
Ensure products comply with all mandatory requirements
Serve as first technical support contact for site engineers
Document, file, and prepare O&M manuals
Produce drawings using 2D AutoCAD
Provide feedback on commercial trends and market requirements
Support client queries and build long-term customer relationships
About You
Understanding of pumping solutions and fluid handling systems
Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Capable of interpreting technical specifications and producing accurate drawings
Confident in dealing with technical queries to support site engineers
Organised, methodical, and flexible
Team player
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Engineering qualification (ONC, HNC, BEng, etc.)
Computer literate (Microsoft Office) with experience of CRM systems
Good standard of English and Maths
2D AutoCAD experience
Desirable:
Knowledge of pumps, pipework, pressure pipe systems, and general engineering principles
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
