A Children’s Social Worker is required to join Birmingham’s Safeguarding Service. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.

As a Social Worker on the Child Protection Team you will be:
* Safeguarding children from harm
* Conducting interviews and carrying out assessments to review individual circumstances within specific time-scales
* Chairing and attending Child in Need meetings, Reviews and Child Protection Conferences
* Undertaking all training and development opportunities to continue professional development
* Conducting statutory visits
As a Social Worker you are required to:
* Hold a Social Work England registration
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK driving licence
* Have post-qualified experience
* Have a degree level or equivalent in Social Work
