We are seeking a competent organizer to join our events team to oversee the planning and execution of our events strategy. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative, and highly organized. Events include, but are not limited to: exhibitions, third-party conferences, industry association events, client conferences, product user groups, webinars, and client entertainment.
The EMEA Marketing Department is a dynamic and energetic team based in Milton Keynes, Amsterdam, Mainz, and Dubai. The team supports key regions for Yardi Systems: the United Kingdom, Mainland Europe, and the Middle East. While developing region-specific marketing strategies, the team also extends the corporate marketing efforts from Santa Barbara, California. Its goals include increasing brand awareness and supporting lead generation activities aligned with sales strategies in each country.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure the successful execution of various events and webinars according to strategic requirements, target audience, and objectives.
2. Coordinate all pre-event, during-event, and post-event activities.
3. Bring creativity and promote innovative ideas to enhance event success.
4. Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, event organizers, and industry associations.
5. Collaborate with regional sales teams and other departments to ensure effective involvement in events.
6. Work with line managers to approve all event aspects.
7. Ensure smooth event execution and proactively resolve any issues.
8. Support post-event evaluation, analysis, and lead generation efforts.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proven experience in event planning or coordination.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Web and social media savvy is preferred.
* A degree or diploma in marketing, hospitality, event management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
