Qualified Accountant to be office based Monday to Friday, working in a friendly environment for a successful well established company.Qualified accountant (MAAT, CIMA or equivalent) with minimum 5 years' experienceFully qualified is requiredProven experience in international trade financeStrong understanding of global shipping documentation, letters of credit, and incoterms (advantageous)Experience with multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange managementManage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing proceduresHandle international banking transactions, foreign exchange management, and multi-currency reconciliationsProcess and maintain all import/export documentation with meticulous attention to detailLiaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs agents to ensure smooth logistics operationsPrepare financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and budgetsMonitor cash flow and working capital requirements for international operationsOversee compliance with HMRC regulations, VAT returns, and international tax requirementsManage commercial aspects including international trade insurance, legal contracts, and statutory filingsImplement and maintain financial controls and proceduresCoordinate with our international offices for consolidated financial reportingSupport senior management with financial analysis and decision-making informationTPBN1_UKTJ
