This is a full-time opportunity to join a highly supportive setting that caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, complex learning difficulties, communication needs and SEMH. The Role
* Full-time, Monday–Friday (term time only)
* 8:30am – 3:30pm
* Temp to perm position
You will be responsible for planning and delivering differentiated lessons, leading a small class group, working closely with Teaching Assistants, and contributing to EHCP reviews and pupil progress tracking.
We are looking for a teacher who:
✔ Holds QTS
✔ Has experience working within SEN or specialist settings
✔ Is confident adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs
✔ Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
✔ Is patient, resilient and passionate about inclusive education
Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets.
* Adapt the curriculum to meet a wide range of complex needs, ensuring accessibility for all learners.
* Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
* Lead and direct Teaching Assistants effectively to ensure consistent pupil support.
* Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.
* Contribute to EHCP reviews, reports and multi-agency meetings.
* Implement positive behaviour support strategies in line with school policy.
* Work collaboratively with parents, carers and external professionals (e.g. Speech & Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists).
* Promote pupils’ social, emotional and communication development alongside academic progress.
* Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and maintain high professional standards at all times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
