Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Public Relations (PR) Manager to lead our firm's media and public relations efforts. This role plays a key part in enhancing brand reputation, increasing public visibility, and supporting our attorneys and leadership team with speaking, press, and media opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PR strategy, event coordination, and media outreach—ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Media & Thought Leadership
Source and secure high-impact opportunities for podcasts, webinars, speaking engagements, and interviews
Prepare briefing documents, talking points, and bios for firm representatives
Maintain and grow relationships with podcast hosts, media contacts, and event organizers
Conference & Event Participation
Identify relevant industry conferences and speaking opportunities
Coordinate logistics for firm participation, including registration, booth materials, and scheduling
Collaborate with graphic designers to develop and print handouts, pamphlets, and branded materials
Press & Publicity
Write, coordinate, and distribute press releases for firm milestones, events, and campaigns
Maintain media lists and track PR placements
Act as a point of contact for press inquiries and media opportunities
Testimonial Collection & Promotion
Collect written and video testimonials from clients across all brands
Collaborate with the content team to ensure testimonials are edited and published appropriately
Ensure all testimonials adhere to legal marketing guidelines and ethical standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
3–5 years of public relations experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
Strong writing and editing skills for press materials, pitches, and media correspondence
Excellent organizational and project management abilities
Confidence in communicating with attorneys, leadership, and media professionals
Experience with PR software, press release distribution tools, and basic analytics/reporting platforms
Familiarity with ethical marketing standards, especially in the legal industry, is a plus
