MPA is currently recruiting Band 5 nurses in the Derry/Londonderry area.
**Full MAPA Level 4 training will be provided**
Your Duties

You will be assigned a dedicated Consultant who will support you throughout the registration process and during your placements to ensure your needs are met.
As a provider for top Health & Social Care clients across Northern Ireland, MPA supplies Band 5 Nurses to various hospitals for shifts including half days, long days, night duties, and weekends, tailored to your availability. You choose where and when to work, at competitive hourly rates.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Provide emotional support to residents.
* Maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Communicate professionally via telephone and in person.
* Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, eating, and feeding.
* Participate in activities with residents as required.
* Assist with personal care such as showering and dressing.
* Monitor health indicators, including body temperatures, and administer medication as needed. Ability to perform clinical observation duties is required.
Skills Required
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
* Good listening and communication skills.
* Understanding and following policies and procedures.
* Good documentation skills for care plans.
Qualifications Required
* Minimum 6 months of experience.
* Must be NMC registered.
