Job Description
3. Lead the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
5. Provide financial advice to senior management to support strategic decisions.
6. Oversee month-end and year-end accounting processes.
7. Manage and develop the finance team to enhance overall performance.
8. Collaborate with external auditors and manage the audit process effectively.
9. Monitor and control financial risks within the organisation.
10. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Finance Manager should have:
11. Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
12. Extensive experience in financial management within the accounting and finance field.
13. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
14. Experience with team restructuring, due diligence and governance would be a benefit.
15. Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
17. Experience within the not-for-profit sector is desirable but not essential.
