Be a part of our high performing gas team, working safely to ensure we meet all our compliance requirements. We'll provide you with a company van, fuel card, tools and the necessary PPE for the role.
Responsibilities
* Service and repair gas appliances to keep customers safe and warm.
* Complete associated gas certification documentation and work in line with gas safety, installation and use regulations, as well as our standard operating procedures.
* Follow planned jobs provided by our Work Planners, focusing on high standard work and 'right first time' outcomes.
* Contribute to our 'TradePlus' scheme, acquiring diverse skills to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Relevant experience as a Gas Engineer with a proven record of services and repairs to a high standard.
* NVQ Level 3 / Craft Certificate in Gas Fitting and the following domestic qualifications: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, MET1. Commercial gas qualifications, CRK1 & HTR1, are preferable.
* Valid UK driving licence.
* Comfortable using digital devices; willingness to learn; use of mobile and handheld devices to allocate jobs and record completion.
* Commitment to safe working practices and a good grasp of health and safety regulations.
Location & Hours
Work primarily in the Tees Valley area (Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough) with occasional travel beyond. Fixed shift pattern: 8:00 am–4:00 pm Monday–Thursday and 8:00 am–3:30 pm Friday (summer).
