These are permanent positions within the cancer care directorate.

Job responsibilities
* Staff who provide basic care and support to patients in various settings
* Responsible for tasks such as mobility, observations, and medication
* Involved in keeping the environment and equipment clean and safe
* Part of the wider healthcare team that includes nurses, doctors, and other professionals
* Taking patients' observations such as blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturations, height, weight and pulse.
* Helping patients book blood tests and appointments.
* Phlebotomy is required
* Basic IT skills
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good standard of numeracy and literacy
* Care certificate
* Basic IT skills
Experience
* Ability to adapt and learn in a health care environment
* Understanding of basic physiology e.g. normal vital signs, fluid balance, nutritional requirements etc.
* Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative
* Previous experience working within a care environment/NHS
* Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
