Facilities Engineer

Mon–Fri | Alternating shifts (6–2 / 1–9)
£45,000 + shift allowance
We've partnered with a global FMCG manufacturer who are looking to add a Facilities Engineer to their engineering team at a large production site in Ashford.
This role sits within the site facilities / utilities function, supporting the maintenance and reliability of building services and infrastructure across a busy manufacturing environment.
The Role
You’ll work closely with the Facilities Manager and wider engineering team, supporting day-to-day site engineering activities including:
• Maintaining site utilities and facilities equipment
• Supporting and improving planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
• Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Ensuring engineering work meets site safety and quality standards
• Supporting contractor management and facilities projects
What They’re Looking For
• Experience working within facilities, site services or utilities engineering
• Background in manufacturing, FMCG, pharma or similar industrial environments
• Multi-skilled, electrical or mechanical engineers considered
• Strong organisation and communication skills
