Role purpose
We are looking for Account Executives to join us. Reporting to a Team Leader and our Sales Manager, you will engage with both existing and potential customers, ensuring accurate data within our CRM system.
Your role will mainly focus on sales, but there will also be an element of administration, data entry, and customer service. You will maintain and develop relationships with key customer and partner contacts using our CRM system to track your business.
Key responsibilities
* Respond, identify, create, develop, and campaign sales opportunities within new business customers.
* Record all qualified business in Sales Hub.
* Engage with SCC’s partners following established processes to ensure opportunities are registered and recorded within the CRM system.
* Respond to all leads generated quickly and capitalize on existing opportunities.
* Maintain, expand, and build engagement with vendors and partners within existing accounts and new customers, managing these engagements to drive sales growth and margins.
* Proactively pursue deal registration, margin maximization programs, and drive positive engagement to close deals.
* Work effectively with SCC solution experts to define the right proposition for clients.
* Maintain accurate and timely forecasts in Sales Hub, and grow associated contacts, campaigns, and customer data.
* Manage and grow long-term customer relationships at all levels within the customer organizations.
* Identify opportunities and risks (operational, commercial, legal) considering SCC’s financial imperatives, such as maximizing margin contribution using Payment Solutions.
* Prospect to new customers through cold calling, email, and social media campaigns.
* Develop and execute a new business campaign strategy across all SCC products and services.
Skills and experience
* Proven success in technology infrastructure and services sales, especially product-focused sales into commercial organizations.
* Commercial awareness in the supply chain with successful negotiation experience at client and vendor levels.
* Previous sales experience within the IT sector.
