ICT Applications and Systems Team Leader
Job summary: An opportunity for an experienced ICT applications and systems team leader to join the digital team delivering a five-year digital strategy with patient care at its core. This is a full-time permanent role within the ICT Department. Hybrid working; base to be confirmed.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert ICT support across development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of ICT applications and systems across Wales.
* Offer ICT support and advice to managers and users.
* Investigate/resolve and plan multi-faceted ICT systems to ensure smooth operation of the Trust's ICT Applications and Systems.
* Provide day to day supervision of ICT Applications Engineers.
Qualifications
* Essential: Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of ICT applications and systems.
Desirable
* Project Management qualification.
* Leadership qualification (ILM Level 2 or 3).
* ITIL Foundation.
Experience
* Essential: Proven experience in ICT Applications or Systems role; experience managing and motivating a team; leading design, development and deployment of system upgrades; strong understanding of Windows PC/server OS; desktop and server troubleshooting; supporting peripheral hardware.
* Desirable: Experience in healthcare IT; Agile development environment.

* Public speaking and ability to present concepts; planning and leadership; ability to build relationships; methodical, detail-oriented; initiative; communicate complex processes; lead software development projects; manage team competencies; strong written and verbal communication; quick learner.
* Desirable: Welsh language.
