Assistant Accountant – Oldham Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience) Hours: Full-time | 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home Study support available I am working with a growing accountancy firm based in Oldham, who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This role would suit someone who’s already worked in an accountancy practice and is confident with things like VAT returns, bookkeeping, and helping with accounts prep. You’ll be working closely with their accountants and dealing directly with clients. What you’ll be doing: Preparing VAT returns Bookkeeping and reconciliations Supporting with year-end accounts Liaising with clients when needed Helping senior team members with various tasks What you need: Previous experience working in an accountancy firm Good knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) What they offer: Salary up to £30,000 1 day a week working from home Full study support if you’re working towards a qualification A supportive team and a chance to grow as they grow
