Job Description
We are looking for a full-time permanent Laboratory Technician with an industrial food production skill to support our team in the day-to-day running of the business. The Lab Technician will assist in food sampling, measuring, analyzing, and maintaining the lab area clean following our sample processing and aseptic technique procedure in cooperation with the rest of our laboratory team.
Key Responsibilities for the role
1. Determining bacterial colonies on plates and producing an accurate count.
2. Laboratory analysis on food and water samples by various methods.
3. To ensure the maintenance of equipment and adequate stocks of reagents and consumables are upheld in the Lab.
4. Maintain cleanliness and sterility of equipment along with general cleaning duties.

Salary: £12.21 per hour.
Hours: 40 hours per week Thursday to Monday between the hours of 09:30 to 18:00 (Part time may be available)
Holiday: 28 days paid holiday (including BH) pro rata
