We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Production Team Leader to head our Inspection & Packing department (Ceramic Sinks) at our Wolverhampton site. In this role, you aren’t just a supervisor—you are a key driver of shop-floor success. You will balance hands-on production involvement with frontline leadership to ensure world-class products meet rigorous quality standards. This is the ideal role for a leader who enjoys being "on the tools" while mentoring a team to hit daily output targets. Key Responsibilities Lead & Motivate: Direct and support your team to exceed KPIs across Safety, Quality, Output, and Cost. Frontline Leadership: Balance active production work with essential management duties. Operational Excellence: Conduct daily shift briefings, manage labour resources, and ensure all equipment is "production-ready" via pre-start checks. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvements. Compliance: Maintain uncompromising Health & Safety and Quality standards in line with company policies. Ownership: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to ensure seamless production flow. What You’ll Bring The Essentials: Proven Leadership: Experience in a hands -on Supervisory or Team Leader role within a manufacturing environment. People Management: A natural ability to manage performance, develop talent, and influence a positive team culture. Safety First: In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety protocols and Quality Management Systems. Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using ERP/Production Management systems. Technical Literacy: Confidence working with automated control systems and understanding their role in production. The "Nice to Haves": Experience in Casting, Engineering, or Ceramics manufacturing.
