Accounts Assistant \nThis is a wonderful opportunity to join an established and growing company based in the Birmingham area, who are expanding their accounts and finance team. This role will be varied and cover accounts payable/receivable along with areas of payroll combined with admin duties. This role can be full time 37.5hrs per week or on a part time basis approx.
20hrs a week with flexibility on day/times and offers a salary FTE £30-35k. Opening hours Monday to Friday 9 to 6.\n\nAccounts Assistant - Role & Responsibilities:\n\nProcess and approve invoices, expense claims and ad hoc payments whilst maintaining accurate financial records \n\nQuery invoices with managers and suppliers and chase an outstanding invoices/payments \n\nReconcile bank statements \n\nSupport with payroll processes, including absence verification \n\nMonitor, action and redirect emails as appropriate \n\nProvide general administrative support to the finance and office teams\n\nSupport HR with onboarding paperwork, visa’s, medical and employee records management\n\nAccounts Assistant - Experience Required: \n\nPurchase Ledger / Accounts Payable experience \n\nStrong numeracy skills\n\nAbility to maintain clear and accurate financial records\n\nAnalytical approach to problem solving\n\nMicrosoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills \n\nExcellent eye for detail and accuracy skills\n\nAccounts Assistant - Additional Information\n\nMonday to Friday 9 to 6 (can either work full time 37.5hrs) or on a part time basis 20hrs per week, flexible on hours worked) \n\nSalary FTE £30-35k \n\nOffice based in Birmingham \n\nFabulous array of company benefits \n\nPlease apply for the position of Accounts Assistant online or email your cv to (url removed)
