Job Description:
MCS Group is proud to be working for a large-scale food manufacturer based in County Armagh to recruit multiple multi-skilled maintenance engineers to join their team.
Your Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will provide electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation support, ensuring the plant runs safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance in line with SAP PM and site procedures.
2. Monitoring plant performance and implementing corrective actions to maintain uptime.
3. Performing Point-of-Work risk assessments and adhering to SOPs and safe working practices.
4. Updating the asset register and maintenance records via tablet device.
5. Participating in 5-Why root-cause analyses following breakdowns or deviations.
6. Handover work effectively at shift changes and communicate with all stakeholders.
7. Supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
About You:
Essential:
* NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Mechatronics.
* Recent maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong cross-trade skills and a flexible, multi-skilled approach.
* Proven problem-solving ability with logical fault-finding techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
* Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and under pressure.
