Parts Department Manager – Construction Machinery Location: Chesterfield Salary: £38,000–£45,000 DOE Benefits Hours: Mon–Thu 8:00–4:30, Fri 8:00–3:30 Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Parts Department Manager to join a well‑established construction machinery business in Chesterfield. This is a key leadership role overseeing the full parts operation, including procurement, stock control, customer service, and team management. Key Responsibilities * Manage procurement, suppliers, and stock levels * Oversee distribution and ensure timely delivery of parts * Lead and develop the parts team * Handle customer enquiries and build strong relationships * Manage order processing, returns, and invoicing * Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements * Maintain pricing, promotions, and online parts platforms * Support business growth and identify cost‑saving opportunities What We’re Looking For * Minimum 3 years’ staff management experience * Strong background in spare parts management (construction machinery ideal) * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities * Technical understanding of machinery and components * Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or Syncron is a bonus Benefits * 31 days holiday (including bank holidays) * Pension scheme * Competitive salary excellent benefits If you’re an experienced Parts Manager looking for a long‑term role within a respected and growing business, we’d love to hear from you
