Maintenance Engineer : Frome, Somerset
GBP45,000 - GBP48,000, Monday - Friday, 3-shift pattern

Our client is a leading manufacturer committed to producing products of exceptional quality. With a strong order book and over GBP9 million invested in the factory, they are expanding into various export markets and seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Conduct planned maintenance inspections and review parts used.
2. Recommend improvements aligned with projects and maintenance schedules; perform safety checks on equipment.
3. Monitor plant conditions, report defects, and repair machinery.
4. Ensure compliance with SOPs and risk assessments.
5. Report on plant performance using systems; address non-conformance issues.
6. Work on valves and pumps.
7. Support production and continuous improvement projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
1. Formal engineering qualification (C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship).
2. Knowledge of continuous improvement processes.
3. Strong understanding of engineering standards.
4. Experience in food, packaging, drinks, or manufacturing environments.
