KS1 Teacher – Maternity Cover

A well-regarded primary school in Fleet, Hampshire is seeking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic, and reflective KS1 Teacher on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave, starting in September 2025. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers looking to make a positive impact within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Successful Candidate Will:
Have experience teaching Key Stage 1 pupils, with a sound understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles.
Be a confident and effective classroom practitioner who delivers engaging, relevant, and creative learning experiences.
Maintain high expectations for all pupils’ attainment, behaviour, and personal development.
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and identify next steps for individual learners.
Contribute to creating a stimulating, nurturing, and well-organised learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to the school’s ethos and values.
Work collaboratively as part of a professional team, supporting colleagues and contributing to whole-school initiatives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
