Secondary Art teacher required for September 2025
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term
Salary: Paid in line with the Main Pay Scale for London Fringe - £33,000 to £50,000 per annum for qualified teachers, depending on experience.
Key Stages: KS3 and KS4 (might also suit an experienced Primary or Unqualified teacher).
About the Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity to teach Art in a supportive and student-focused alternative provision. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact, using creative approaches to engage students and encourage expression through Art.
We're looking for someone who:
Holds QTS, QTLS, or equivalent - however, the school will also consider an unqualified teacher with relevant experience working with young people in education or support settings
Has experience working with students with SEMH needs, or a willingness to learn quickly
Brings energy, creativity, and patience to the classroom
Can plan and deliver engaging Art lessons that inspire and support student development
Is committed to helping young people re-engage with education and achieve success
