Your new role As an Associate Building Surveyor, you’ll take a leading role in delivering a wide range of professional and project-based services across commercial real estate portfolios. You’ll work with high-profile clients on complex and rewarding instructions, including: Building surveys for acquisition, occupation, and investment purposes Contract administration for refurbishment, fit-out, and defect rectification projects Dilapidations advice and negotiations on behalf of landlords and tenants Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategies and reporting Defect analysis, diagnosis, and specification of remedial works Schedules of Condition, Licence for Alteration reviews, and project monitoring Preparation of specifications, schedules of work, and standard building contract forms You’ll also play a key role in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues, including a graduate and apprentice based in Glasgow, helping to shape the next generation of surveyors. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, with flexibility around inspections and hybrid working, while still being part of a collaborative and high-performing team.
