Summary of Role

To carry out the administration process for unsecured and secured debt recovery.

Please note this role is fully office based and requires attendance in the office five days per week.

Key Tasks

* Ensuring all incoming calls are answered within an acceptable time and enquiries dealt with to passed on.
* Dealing with conflict checks-from YK team and from MFMac.
* Reviewing client instructions and opening cases, issuing Letters before Action and liaising with clients and debtors re process and progress.
* Printing and collating of outgoing mails to include putting together of services and completion of proof of posting, updating cases and ensuring inbound mail is checked, scanned to the case handler with any cheques being passed to the Finance Team.
* Taking debtor payments over the phone complying with internal procedures
* Raising straightforward Court actions and processing Decisions/Decrees as required.
* Retrieving timetables from Civil Online, updating case management system, preparation of necessary Court forms for service, downloading Decisions from Civil Online and updating case management system.
* Carrying out other associated admin duties such as scanning, filing and photocopying.
* Processing of Web contacts for distribution.
* Support other team members with their matters.

Qualifications and Experience

* You will have at least one year's experience in an administrative role.
* Experience in a legal environment is desirable but not essential.
* Paralegal work experience is desirable but not essential.

* You have excellent communication skills, you are articulate, you communicate clearly, concisely and without any jargon.
* You enjoy working within a team and autonomously on your own initiative.
* You are personable and good at building and developing client relationships.
* You are confident and you have a strong belief in yourself and your own ability.
* You are committed to providing a good client experience and willing to put in extra time and effort when required
