Job Title: Lecturer – Health and Social Care
Location: Kings Lynn
Salary: £31,904 - £40,233 per annum
We are recruiting a full‑time Lecturer to join our Health and Social Care Department on a permanent basis. The department offers courses from GCSE 14-16 to level 1-3 Health and Social Care, including T-level in Health and Adult Counselling, delivered also at our Wisbech Campus.
This is an exciting time to join an expanding team committed to staying at the forefront of education developments. We plan to introduce apprenticeships in the next academic year and will support a flexible working environment including job share and flexible hours.
Responsibilities
* Teach and assess learners across the Health and Social Care curriculum.
* Design and develop curriculum that meets the needs of local communities and partners such as NHS and healthcare providers.
* Promote a supportive learning environment, encouraging collaboration, expectation and communication among staff and students.
* Participate in curriculum development, assessment design and quality assurance.
* Contribute to the department’s strategic planning and maintain professional knowledge in health and social care.
Qualifications and Experience
* A teaching qualification, preferably at level 5.
* International experience in the health and social care sector is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and engage with industry partners.
