Job Purpose:
The role of the Developmental Programme for 2 – 3 Year Olds Supervisor incorporating the Little Stars Programme will be to deliver quality early year’s services to support the delivery of the Sure Start programme within Lisburn Sure Start. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Developmental Programme for 2 – 3 Year Olds ensure that a welcoming, safe and child centred environment.
Job Role:
* To assist in the induction of all Early Years programme staff within the Lisburn Sure Start Project alongside the Early Years Coordinator.
* To line manage and supervise Early Years Programme staff.
* To implement a child-centred and welcoming environment
* To ensure a safe, stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities are provided for children aged 0 – 3 years, suitable to the child’s age and stage of development.
* Minimum of NVQ Level 5 Child Care qualification or equivalent
* One years experience working in the early year’s sector
* One years’ experience in line managing/supervising staff
* 5 GCSEs including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above
* Clean drivers’ licence and access to transport.
