Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Devizes, Wiltshire

We are recruiting on behalf of an independent practice in Devizes, Wiltshire for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their talented team.
The practice is a small animal first opinion and established independent Hospital which has recently gone through a large refurbishment. They boast air-conditioned facilities including an imaging suite and dental theatre.
This role is full or part time for 2.5 to 4.5 days per week with shifts between 8:30am and 6pm, along with 1 in 6 full weekends on-call, Saturday mornings on a rota, 1 day on-call per week and 1 night on-call per week. The shifts will be 8:45am to 5pm for 1 or 2 days per week, then 8:45am to 6pm for another 1 or 2 days per week, and then 8:30am to 1pm as your half day shift. There will be an additional half day off after working the weekend on-call.
They cover their own OOH, and the rota is 1 in 6 full weekends and Saturday mornings and 1 night in call per week. The full-time working hours are 1 -2 days per week doing a 8.45am - 5pm shift and then 1-2 days per week working 8.45am - 6pm and one half day per week 8.30am - 1pm with an additional half day Friday after working the weekend on call. There is one on call day working 8.30am - 6.30pm and the nurse takes the on-call phone.
The Vet will be joining a team of 5 Vets some of which are certificate holding surgeons along with a supportive team of 6 nurses and collectively they provide an excellent environment for a Surgeon to develop their clinical skills and knowledge.
The main duties will involve consulting and surgeries.
