We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join our in-house embroidery department. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8.15am to 4.45pm with an early finish on Fridays.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:
* Set up and operate embroidery machines, following job specifications and ensuring accurate placement of designs on garments.
* Load and thread machines with appropriate colours and materials according to job specification.
* Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
* Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, addressing any issues or defects promptly.
* Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, including cleaning, oiling, and troubleshooting.
* Pack garments into boxes, ready for despatching, ensuring garments are labelled correctly.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
* Braid and cord blazers using an industrial sewing machine.
About You:
* Previous experience as an embroidery machine operator is essential.
* Previous experience as a sewing machinist.
* A strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work.
* Good communication skills to work effectively with team members.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

* Full time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week
