Job Description Summary:
We are seeking managers with experience in local government to join our Grants and Other Assurance national team.
Grants Assurance is a specialized team with 30 members across the UK and India. As part of the team, you'll manage assignments with public bodies, government departments, national services, commercial organizations, and not-for-profit organizations such as universities.

Here’s what you can expect:
* Hands-on experience in various aspects of Grants Assurance, working with clients ranging from local authorities to multinational companies and government bodies.
* Experience working on assurance assignments that vary from a few days to up to five weeks, including examining financial records and conducting audit procedures.
* Responsibility and ownership of interesting and challenging client work.
* Opportunities to develop a strong internal and external network.
* Collaborating with colleagues to provide robust challenge and market-leading insights to help clients meet regulatory requirements and business goals.
The minimum criteria:
* Experience working with local government and/or a keen interest in developing skills and knowledge in this area.
* Experience delivering complex Housing Benefit assignments within the last 5 years.
* Ability to work independently, synthesize information from diverse sources, draw conclusions, and manage relationships with clients, including senior officers.
This role is suitable for an experienced in-charge aspiring to become a manager.
