ROLE – Senior Design Engineer SALARY - £40,000- £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) TYPE – Permanent LOCATION – Llandudno My client designs bespoke metal engineering solutions for manufacture. They are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their team in the Llandudno area on a permanent basis. The Senior Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / Degree qualified in Mechanical / Mechanical Design / Industrial Design / Engineering Design or similar 5 or more years’ industry experience ideally working in a similar industrial design / development role within a manufacturing environment Proficient with using 2D & 3D CAD software for design Confident knowledge of structural disciplines Able to manage projects and work to deadlines and budgets Experienced designing products from concept to production Able to maintain technical documentation and BOM entry Knowledge of different materials such as sheet metal fabrication Innovative and passionate about design Be technically minded with a head for problem solving Able to work well individually as well as part of a team The Senior Design Engineer role will involve: Being responsible for the design and development of various products Using CAD software for design on a day-to-day basis Developing ideas from concept to production Creating models/prototypes Liaising with clients...
