Job Description
Wallace High School is committed to providing the highest standards of educational provision for every young person through effective learning and teaching, coupled with a robust pupil support system.
The successful candidate will exhibit dynamic classroom leadership, ensuring the delivery of high standards of learning and teaching. Responsibilities include departmental monitoring and tracking, accurate and timely implementation of SQA procedures and paperwork, and contributing to the school's alignment with the National Improvement Framework, including faculty development priorities.
Applicants must be confident, articulate, and dynamic, demonstrating creativity, motivation, and effective classroom leadership. The role requires organizing work to meet tight deadlines and ensuring the faculty meets the needs of Wallace High's students.
Candidates must possess GTCS registration in a subject relevant to the Social Subjects curriculum.
This is a temporary position, ending in June 2026.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If shortlisted, you will need to complete the necessary forms and verification process.
