GSL Education are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Arundel. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they can thrive in a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
* Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
* Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Support with personal care where required.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development.
Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant role:
* Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties).
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
