Overview Are you a nurturing Teaching Assistant who enjoys working in EYFS? Humly North West is recruiting for a Reception Teaching Assistant to support children at a primary school in Preston from September 2026. This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys helping young children settle into school life, build confidence and develop through play-based learning. You’ll support the class teacher with daily routines, early learning activities and helping children feel safe, happy and engaged. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations. Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Primary setting. Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere. Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school. Candidate Profile Relevant qualifications for a Teaching Assistant (e.g., QTS or equivalent). Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Primary sector. Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.
