Job Description:
Our school is growing; we are looking for Secondary School Teachers to join our school in Ilford. You will be working with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in decisions.
We are interested in speaking with Secondary teachers with experience in teaching English, Science, Maths from KS2 to KS4.
As a Teacher at Five Rivers Child Care, your day will be varied and interesting. You will follow a flexible structure while supporting children and young people through bespoke therapeutic and educational frameworks tailored to each child. You could be teaching in the classroom or supporting children in the community who cannot attend school.
You will teach both in school and in the community on a 1-2-1 basis.
You will work within a Trauma-informed practice model, supporting therapeutic practices. Our schools have received the ‘Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School Gold Award’.
Our young people may have experienced multiple adult transitions, adding to their trauma. We seek committed individuals eager to develop their careers within a therapeutically focused organization, Ofsted registered schools, and leading alternative education provision (1 ACE).
Our leadership team will support your professional growth through up-to-date training and personal development discussions.
Hours:
Term Time: aligned with local authority.
Full-time: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Part-time hours can be discussed.

Requirements:
* Good written and IT skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and external contacts
* Active listening skills
* NQTS or QTS registration
* Valid UK Driving Licence (desirable)
