Restaurant Manager - Edinburgh Relocation £44,000 to £47,000 per year Independent brand in the heart of Edinburgh, looking for an accomplish Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager reporting to the General Manager. We're looking for an accomplished Restaurant Manager/AGM with proven experience in leading upmarket restaurants and bars in a known high street brand. A leader with some PnL responsibility, full business understanding including bar and floor leadership experience. OUR BUSINESS: Located in the heart of Edinburgh, we are an upmarket restaurant and cocktail bar open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seasonal, fresh; we don't cut corners. Fresh produce, detailed menus in an upmarket destination venue with a highly engaged and passionate team delivering an exceptional guest experience. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: You have been working as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager in a busy environment for the past few years. You're first-class in everything you do and want to find an environment that's as obsessive about quality as you are. You're a great leader who really cares about your people. You have a mentoring approach, coaching and developing other members of the team is a natural focus for you. Your attention to detail is second to none; not only in the day-to-day service standards but also in your business administration, reporting and relationship with team and stakeholders. You have a genuine commitment to making people happy, the health of your team and their love for the business and its leadership is paramount. You never compromise on quality and performance of the restaurant. You have strong, hands on experience in bar and floor management, stock management, restaurant and bar open and closing. You have had some experience of a PnL and a general understanding able to lead a restaurant and bar in the absence of your GM. You have exceptional communication skills, detailed in reporting and business administration and able to present business insights week to week.
