Design Manager £25m Distribution Centre
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £65,000 £75,000 + package
Were looking for an experienced Design Manager to join the team on a £25m Distribution Centre project based in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a major industrial scheme, working closely with consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
The Role:
* Manage and coordinate design information from pre-construction through to completion
* Chair design team meetings and lead consultant and subcontractor coordination
* Manage design programmes, RFIs, and information release schedules
* Ensure compliance with planning conditions, Building Control, and BREEAM requirements
* Carry out technical reviews and support value engineering opportunities
* Provide design input into procurement and support the project delivery team
About You:
* Proven experience working as a Design Manager within construction
* Strong understanding of the design process and technical coordination
* Experience on industrial or distribution centre projects preferred
* Organised, methodical, and confident managing multiple workstreams
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
