Experience required…

Essential:

8. Degree in a related technical field (environmental / civil engineering) or equivalent experience
9. Existing experience of working in Flood Risk Management in the private or public sector (such as the Environment Agency, Lead Local Flood Authorities or Internal Drainage Boards)
10. Experience of using hydraulic modelling outputs to create flood depth-damage calculations
11. Experience of costing flood risk management options and undertaking benefit-cost economic analysis
12. Ability to undertake HM Green Book compliant options appraisal and evaluation for flood risk management schemes, including use of the Multi Coloured Manual
13. Experience of using the FCERM Partnership Funding Calculator to assess GIA funding capability
14. Experience of writing flood risk management scheme business cases using the HM Treasury Five Case Model
15. Ability to work with key stakeholders, such as Risk Management Authorities, developers, contractors and landowners
16. Experience of developing partnership funding opportunities
17. Ability to produce technical and non-technical summary reports

Desirable:

18. A full UK driving licence
19. Chartered or working towards chartered status
20. Experience of managing and analysing large datasets and GIS / design software (e.g. MapInfo, Arc, QGIS, AutoCAD)
