Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supported Living Support Worker to join a leading care provider in Wheatley, supporting individuals with learning disabilities. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives, providing personal care, supporting daily activities, and enabling individuals to participate in fun and fulfilling experiences.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supported Living Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with varying levels of personal care, eating and drinking, shopping, household tasks, and engaging in activities such as music, cinema, and theatre trips. You will ensure that everyone has varied and exciting experiences, and you will have the opportunity to join in.
Required Skills & Experience
Although no prior experience is necessary, as full training is provided, ideally, you will have a background in care or working with people with specific additional requirements. However, we are more interested in hearing from people who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. You will need a positive, can-do, and professional attitude, be reliable and flexible, and able to do sleepovers. A valid UK Driving Licence is also required.
