As a Claims Manager, you will manage Claims Handlers, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure timely resolution of claims within legal frameworks. This role is based in Birmingham with a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
* Line manage a Claims Team, offering full managerial support.
* Assess risks and make legally defensible decisions on claims, ensuring evidence robustness.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather evidence and support claim resolutions.
* Review cases and make decisions on claims ranging from £20k to £50k, based on recommendations and experience.
About You
* Experience handling insurance claims.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Previous management experience.
* Ability to analyze data and generate performance reports.
* Excellent stakeholder management and customer service skills.
