Overview
Mobile Security Officer
Location: Goole.
We are currently looking for a highly capable and dependable Mobile Security Officer to take on a key role in ensuring the safety and security of a site in Hull. This is an essential position that requires a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a willingness to adjust to evolving operational requirements within the role.
Responsibilities
* Respond to and accurately report any incidents that arise.
* Conduct regular site patrols, ensuring compliance with required KPI points.
* To protect our customer\'s property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site\'s published Assignment Instructions (AI\'s) and any subsequent changes.
* Delivering results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.
* To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.
* Operations: be aware of and ensure compliance with all aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies.
* Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI\'s).
* Proactively refer to and review the published Assignment Instructions, familiarising oneself with any changes to suggest additional amendments that will improve or enhance the current level of service.
* Be compliant with Industry and Statutory Legislation (you are required to obtain a front-line licence in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision), which must be worn at all times whilst carrying out duties. The Customer also requires a CCTV PSS SIA Licence. Additional courses may be contractually required.
* Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority.
* Work in a systematic, methodical and orderly way.
* Training: fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training and undertake additional training as directed to support continuous self-development.
* Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.
* Ensure renewal of licences 16 weeks before expiry.
* Security and Health & Safety: look out for, and immediately report, any hazards; stay alert to threats or changes to take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage; maintain professional conduct in difficult situations; complete accurate incident notebooks for reports; keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client; ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slot; contact emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.
Working pattern
Night shift 17:00 – 05:00, 6 on 3 off. The successful candidate must demonstrate a willingness to adjust to evolving operational requirements within the role.
Salary
The pay rate for this position is £12.75 per hour.
