Hours per week: 7
Salary per year: £6,831 up to £7,484

About You
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as aLecturer in Bricklaying. You will play a key role in delivering engaging, practical, and innovative lessons to help students gain the skills they need for success in the construction industry.
In this role, you will:
* Plan and delivercreative, engaging lessonsacross Levels 1 to 3
* Assess and track student progress, using this to plan targeted interventions
* Teach a range ofdesignated study programmes and courses
* Support students to achieve and succeed, both academically and personally
* Maintain apositive and well-managed classroom environment
We're looking for someone who:
* Ishighly organisedwith excellent interpersonal skills
* Has apositive outlookand is empathetic towards learners
* Canmotivate and inspirestudents to reach their full potential
* Has experience in teaching or delivering training in the workplace(preferred but not essential)
* Holds aminimum Level 2 qualification in Bricklaying

All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met.Employees can move up the salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete, subject to approval.Therefore, internal applicants may qualify for the higher salary scale, although should seek clarification.
