Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach on a range of Travel and Tourism (Cabin Crew & Aviation) Courses;
* Undertake other duties including tutorial support and associated administrative tasks;
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons;
* Market and promote the provision to employers and stakeholders.
Key Person Specification Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years industry experience including Cabin Crew & Aviation;
* Teacher trained (PGCE, DTLLS or CertEd) or working towards;
* GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths;
* Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
* Up-to-date occupational experience; and
* Enhanced DBS check.
We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and current industry practitioners without a teaching qualification. The College offers a Lecturer Development Programme with support and training tailored to previous experience and individual needs, including inductions, a curriculum mentor, and regular support from the Quality team. Industry experts without a teaching qualification will be supported through a 12-week ‘Introduction to Teaching’ programme.
