JobDescription:
* Facilitatecoordinate and perform various accounting tasks through theconsistent application of standard processes and through the use ofa defined checklists
* Implement process andaccounting controls
* Prioritize ongoing tasksproject work and other initiatives.
* Evaluaterecommend and/or implement improvements that contribute toincreased efficiency and to maintain account reconciliations and toimprove reconciliation controls
* Applytechnical accounting knowledge Excel skills and General Ledgerskills to resolve problems identify improvementopportunities
* Work in a team based environmentand support department efficiency and standardizationinitiatives
Day to Day Responsibilities:
* Perform various complex accounting tasksincluding account review analysis and journal entrypreparation
* Perform Project Costing/AssetManagement tasks as assigned
* Provide CustomerService Support to all internal and external customers
* Completing or assisting in the completion of allinformation requests journal posting and audit requests
* Perform all tasks in a timely and accuratemanner
* Develop a basic understanding ofcompany procedures and policies to be compliant in the preparationof reconciliations record retention preparation of yearend closinginstructions Tax and SEC packages preparation
* Review current processes and modify as needed to insuretimely and accurate completion and compliance with company policyand procedures
* Participate in and contributeto periodic team meetings
* Crosstrain withother members of CTR
* Maintain and updateprocess documentation for all processes under management
* Actively participate in meetings projects and audits asrequired
Monthlyresponsibilities:
* Completion of all assigned Month End Closingtasks
* Create and post journalentries
* Ensure completion of systemprocesss
* Journal error review andcorrection
* Prepare and distribute ad hocreports
* Prepare and certify assigned accountreconciliations
Qualifications:
* Critical thinker
* Demonstratedability to process large amounts of data
* Ability to manage multiple priorities projects andcustomers at the highest service levels
* Demonstrate good analytical skills presentation skillsand problem solving capability
* Ability toanalyze and interpret data and link to businessimplications
* Demonstrate ability to workeffectively with people in different time zones/cultures
Experience
* MS Excel including the creation and use ofPivot Tables
* The use of MS Excel macrofunctions a plus but not require
* Customerservice setting a plus but not required
* Basicknowledge of PeopleSoft or SAP systems a plus but notrequired
