Overview
The Team Leader is responsible for supervising and motivating a warehouse team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This includes overseeing stock handling, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring team performance meets operational targets.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team responsible for goods receipt, picking, and returns
* Oversee stock movement and ensure accuracy of product codes and documentation
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
* Supervise the safe loading and unloading of vehicles
* Monitor team performance and provide guidance where needed
* Step in for senior management when required (e.g. during absence)
* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
* Support daily operational planning and workflow
* Encourage clear communication and teamwork
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as required

Skills & Experience (Desirable)
* Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role
* Experience in warehouse, logistics, or food production environments
* Forklift Truck (FLT) and/or PPT licence
* Basic IT / computer skills
* Strong decision-making and leadership ability
Hours
Minimum 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 on a shift rota
