Are you looking to start your career as a Quantity Surveyor?
We're seeking a motivated Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team. You will gain hands-on experience, receive training, and work on projects across the potable water, wastewater, and environmental sectors.
• £20k to £22k per annum

What you'll be doing
You will work alongside our Commercial Team and support the submission of tenders, assist with the company’s month-end accounting processes, and collaborate with our project delivery team and other departments. Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out thorough financial negotiations
* Forming close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Undertaking site visits to understand the full scope of the works
* Working with the project delivery team to formulate a realistic budget for schemes to maximize revenue, profit, and reputation
* Agreeing and submitting monthly interim valuations and final accounts to ensure timely processing of client invoicing and payment applications
* Identifying, preparing, submitting, and agreeing early warning notices and compensation events under NEC contract to account for changes to original quotations

Essential:
* GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English
* Good working knowledge of IT systems (Excel, Word, etc.)
* A keen interest in construction, infrastructure, or the water/environment sector
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
