Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5 & S9)
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time
Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking to inspire pupils and make a real impact in the S5 and S9 areas of Sheffield?
GSL Education are seeking experienced Maths Teachers to work in schools across Sheffield (S5 & S9). This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, develop pupils’ numeracy and problem-solving skills, and support their academic progress.
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Encourage pupils to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
* Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Requirements for the role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
* Experience teaching Maths at school level.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A passion for motivating and inspiring young learners.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
