Administrator £27,000 per annum Witham, Essex Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm during initial training. Once fully trained, shifts will be scheduled between 7:00am and 6:00pm, working 8 hours per day. We're looking for a proactive and organised Administrator to join my clients' dynamic operations team in Witham. This pivotal role supports both customers and internal teams, acting as a central hub for communication, coordination, and service delivery. You'll be responsible for managing incoming queries, scheduling service calls, supporting site teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires excellent communication skills, a confident telephone manner, and a keen eye for detail. You'll be working closely with engineers, site teams, and customers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Duties: Answer incoming calls quickly and directing calls to the appropriate team member if required. Provide excellent telephone support to customers, resolving queries or escalating as required. Log service calls and follow up with relevant departments to ensure timely responses. Emails- reading, filing and following up with relevant jobs that come in via emails Answer site team support phoneline and provide support to staff while on site or offer support or action to customers. Communicate with sites if collection schedule change or require updating. Call sites if site staff cannot gain access, doing everything possible to get the work completed. Act as the first point of contact between customers and service operations. Record fault reports and schedule engineer visits Track service logs and ensure completion or follow ups Independently dispatch engineers with clear communication. Contact sites to keep them up to date Carry out daily administrative tasks such as data entry, systems updates and reports Use industry systems daily Pack and post goods as required Keep parts areas organised and ensure stock control is maintained. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and job status Skills & Experience Strong communication and customer service skills Confident telephone manner and ability to manage multiple tasks Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office and industry systems (training provided) Previous experience in a support, logistics, or coordination role is desirable A positive attitude and a willingness to represent the operations team and support any business decisions. Development Areas A keen eye for reporting and tracking data to help inform decisions and improve performance. Comfortable with using connectivity tools and systems to optimise communication and identify faults on the equipment to improve service delivery and prevent machine breakdowns and hoppers depletion. Demonstrates a collaborative mindset with a willingness to fully engage with all departments and support shared goals. Open to learning-willing to undertake training and actively support others with their development and improving process' for the efficiency of the business to ensure we're staying ahead of the curve and providing the best service possible for our customers and staff.Office Angels is an employment agency and business.
