About the Role
The Research Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality, coverage, and scalability of TMT Finance’s digital infrastructure–focused dataset. Ensuring they meet the highest standards of accuracy, consistency, and commercial relevance. This role sits at the intersection of research excellence, data governance, and product enablement, supporting a global client base across private markets.

Key Responsibilities
Data Quality & Governance
* Own data quality standards across TMT Finance’s datasets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency
* Define and enforce research methodologies, taxonomies, and validation frameworks
* Monitor data integrity through regular audits, exception reporting, and QA processes
Data Growth & Coverage Expansion
* Drive strategic expansion of data coverage across M&A deals, debt-financing, funds and companies
* Identify new data verticals, metrics, and structures aligned with market evolution and client demand
* Balance depth vs. breadth to ensure efficient, high-impact data growth
Research Team Leadership
* Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts in London and India
* Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and development plans
* Foster a culture of analytical rigour, curiosity, and continuous improvement
* Support hiring and onboarding as the data platform scales
Market & Domain Expertise
* Maintain a strong understanding of core trends in the global digital infrastructure industry
* Stay abreast of regulatory, technological, and investment developments impacting data requirements
* Support proprietary research, benchmarks, and insight products
Required Experience
* 3+ years’ experience overseeing high-quality research workflow and processes
* High-level of self-motivation
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail and patience
* Multi-tasking and strong time management
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Previous research experience at a financial markets-focused data provider
